October 13 - Ladies Day at Long Beach Lawn Bowling Club

Ladies Day was held at Long Beach LBC . I love when we have ladies join us for their first time. This time we had Keetje Berndt from Holmby LBC, Kathi Becker from Long Beach LBC and Janell Williams from Santa Ana LBC.  I hope we continue growing.  It is a wonderful experience to bowl with Ladies from the various clubs.  

Thank you to the clubs who promoted this Ladies Day.  We were represented by Casta Del Sol LBC, Holmby LBC, Laguna Beach LBC, Long Beach LBC, Newport Harbor LBC, Santa Ana LBC and Santa Anita. 

A big thank you to the members of Long Beach LBC for making this a fun Ladies Day.  We had breakfast items and terrific a great variety of food for lunch. Thanks to everyone who helped us make this a very special day.

We had a very special guest come to watch our games, Joline Beck.  Joline just returned from the Senior Games in Utah and it was such a pleasure to see her again – she has been bowling for over 35 years.

In the morning 12 ends were played  and the winners were:
