Ladies Day August 2022
Thank you, Laguna Beach LBC, for hosting Ladies Day and having such a wonderful lunch presentation for everyone. The greens were wonderful and of course everyone enjoyed lawn bowling with a view of the ocean.
We had a wonderful turnout of 39 ladies with members from Costa del Sol LBC, Holmby LBC, Laguna Beach LBC, Laguna Woods LBC, Long Beach LBC, Newport Harbor LBC and Santa Ana LBC. We were also honored to have Jolene Beck from Long Beach who just recently retired from lawn bowling after many decades and many medals.
I always love to mention our first time ladies attending which included Phyllis Mitchell from Laguna Beach LBC and Cathy Heriot and Denise La Valle from Long Beach LBC.
In the morning 12 ends were played and the winners were:

We had a very unusual 3 way tie for our 2nd Place and tie game for 4th Place. Lots of prize money given out thanks to Southwest Division contributing to our prize fund. Congratulations to all the winners. The next Ladies Day is September 21st at The Groves LBC in Irvine.
