August 9 2023 - Ladies Day at Laguna Beach LBC
Ladies Day was held at the Laguna Beach LBC. A big thank you to Jackie Kelly who was in charge of hospitality, We were greeted with a very nice display for breakfast and an even greater selection of salads and homemade desserts for lunch. Of course, what could be greater than lawn bowling with a beautiful view of the ocean.
We had a full house with 50 ladies from 9 different SW Division clubs. It is so wonderful to see the green 100% full and everyone having such a great time. Clubs joining us for the day were Casta del Sol LBC, Hermosa Beach LBC, Holmby LBC, Laguna Beach LBC, Laguna Woods LBC, Long Beach LBC, Newport Harbor LBC, Oaks North LBC and Santa Ana LBC.
The following ladies attended Ladies Day for the first time and we hope to continue seeing them: Ginny Barrett, Tory Ruppert, Carol Dayn, Grace Hallum and also Keetje Berndt returning after many years.
