April 12, 2023 - Ladies Day at Newport Harbor LBC
Ladies Day was held at the Newport Harbor LBC. A big thank you to the hospitality of Newport Harbor with breakfast goodies along with luncheon salads and other yummy items. Thanks you to Karen Billon, Jan Hargraves, Le Anderson, Lisa Milligan, Nancy Santos, Norma Goodhart for all their help bringing food and setting up. Also Heather Stewart for bringing her delicious heavenly hash dessert. Let’s not forget to thank Diana Wenzel and Shelley Cohen for being Ladies’ Day coordinators (our job is easy when everyone shows up and no last minute changes, so thanks)
WOW!!! We had such a fabulous turnout with 50 ladies from 12 different SW Division clubs. What a way to start our Ladies Day bowling year. I want to thank each and every lady who participated, especially those who drove a far distance. The clubs joining us for the day were Casta del Sol, Hermosa Beach LBC, Holmby LBC, Laguna Beach LBC, Laguna Woods LBC, Long Beach LBC, Oaks North LBC, Newport Harbor LBC, Redlands LBC, Riverside LBC, Santa Ana and Santa Anita LBC.
And now for our results of this day’s bowling.
In the morning 12 ends were played and the winners were:

2nd Place: Holly Gross Charlyn Moltane Joyce Johnson
3rd Place: Jan Hargraves Barbara Krause Lisa Milligan
4th Place: Lee Ang Edie Beyer Melinda Riddle
