November 13, 2024 - Ladies Day at Casta del Sol

A big thank you to Casta del Sol for hosting Ladies Day.  We had spectacular hospitality starting with a wonderful breakfast selection followed by great salads, fruit and desserts for lunch.  The Casta del Sol ladies made the desserts extra special as they were homemade.  What a delicious treat for everyone.   We had a great turnout once again with 30 Ladies from the following clubs:  Casta del Sol LBC, Laguna Beach LBC, Laguna Woods LBC, Long Beach LBC, Newport Harbor LBC and Oaks North LBC.  Thanks to all these clubs participating and making this such a fun day. 

We had three ladies join us for the first time at Ladies Day:  Jana Elder from Laguna Beach LBC and Joy Brown and Anne Philips from Laguna Woods.  I hope to see them at future Ladies Day.

In the morning 12 ends were played and the winners were:

Our next Ladies Day will be the Holiday Luncheon at Laguna Woods LBC on Wednesday, December 4th at Laguna Woods.  1 game of bowling in the morning and the luncheon in Clubhouse #7 across the street from the lawn bowling greens.   This is a really fun way to end our year.  Everyone remember to bring a wrapped gift for the raffle prizes.
