Ladies Day August 14, 2024 Laguna Beach Lawn Bowling Club

Ladies Day is always so much fun.  Laguna Beach hosted our August ladies day and what beautiful hospitality they provided.  There was a great assortment of breakfast goodies and then plenty of salads and lunch items. Let’s not forget Heather’s heavenly hash for dessert.  Everyone attending is always amazed at the beautiful surroundings and the ocean views as they bowl their games. 

We had another terrific turnout with 52 ladies from 11 different SW Division clubs.  Everything ran smoothly and we all had a fun day bowling.  The clubs joining us for the day were Casta del Sol LBC, Hermosa Beach LBC, Holmby LBC, Laguna Beach LBC, Laguna Woods LBC, Long Beach LBC, Newport Harbor LBC, Oaks North LBC, Pasadena LBC, Santa Ana LBC and The Groves LBC. 

The following ladies attended Ladies Day for the first time and we hope to continue seeing them:  Tami Dorsey, JoAnn Lewy, Diane Windsor, Molly Welch (all from Pasadena LBC), Elena Kraus from Newport Harbor LBC and Jill Pilcher from Laguna Beach LBC.

And now for our results of this day’s bowling.

In the morning 12 ends were played and the winners were:

The afternoon game of 10 ends was won by:
