2025 SWD President’s Message

Dear Southwest Lawn Bowls Community,

I’m honored to introduce myself as the new President of Southwest Lawn Bowls and excited to share our Game-plan 2025—a roadmap to enhance our sport, strengthen our clubs, and grow our community.

This year, we’re launching key initiatives, including an updated website and Facebook page, continued improvements to our quarterly newsletter, and an energized live streaming program to showcase our game. We’re also focusing on inter-club social activities, including ‘Division Days,’ and rolling out a sponsorship drive to support our growth.

Membership growth remains a priority, and we’ll be exploring fresh ideas to attract new players while developing a mentorship program to support them.

Our Southwest Coaching program will continue to expand, and we’re introducing a President’s Forum and a Greens Forum to encourage open dialogue and collaboration across the SW Division.

I look forward to working with all of you to make 2025 a fantastic year for Southwest Lawn Bowls. Stay tuned for updates, and let’s make this a season to remember!
