Determining your novice status:
2024 Definition of a Novice Player – a bowler who joined a club or division for the first time ever, less than two years (24 months) before the scheduled event. (Note: If age prohibits a bowler from joining a club, novice status will be determined by the Tournament Committee on a case by case basis.)
2024 Novice Status: There are no more “Covid Novices”. If you started lawn bowling on or before March 1, 2022, you are no longer a novice as of March 1, 2024.

Day 1: Three 18-end, 3-bowl pairs games. Teams seeded A, B, C, or D by SWD Men’s Tournament Committee. Random draw to determine pennant, consisting on one team each of A, B, C and D. Teams play games within their pennant only.
Day 2: Winners of each flight and enough second place teams to get to 8 teams based on WTPP, 10 plus points max are in the Cary flight. Remaining second place teams and enough third place teams to get 9-16 are in the MacDonald flight. We are proud to present the 9th Annual John Clark Mixed Triples event. In 1936, Hermosa Beach Mayor John Clark was instrumental in the development of the club by personally donating the monies needed to build the greens facility. Please join us for a day of great bowls and fun at our celebration
